This is for you l/o vegetarians. Does anyone know if eating egg whites daily is bad for you? I make an egg white sandwich (cooked egg whites, 100% whole wheat bread, half a slice of cheese) a lot of mornings. I use only cage free - vegetarian fed eggs. I know the yolk is high in fat and cholesterol and always thought the white was good for you.

From all I've read about cholesterol etc... you can have as many egg whites as you want, but limit yolks to 2-3/wk.

I've read a lot about the healthiness of egg whites. I don't think it's possible to eat too many. I mean, once you hit that point, you'll be so sick of them that you'll never want to see another one ever again :p As long as you're avoiding the yolk (which really isn't bad unless you already have cholestrol or weight problems), you'll be fine!
