I just started training hard core with a personal trainer at the gym but I have no idea on what to eat now. I've been getting very hungry and I have been eating way too much. I want to lose fat and gain muscle but mostely I want to lose fat but I don't know how stop getting so hungry after workouts. I know that at the end of the day the amount of calories you eat is what makes you gain fat, but how can I stop getting so hungry?? please help
I feel like my clothes are tighter and that my face is fatter, maybe I was better off without exercise. I'm so confused...

Drink more water, and eat more vegetables. Also, make sure the fats you're eating are good fats, and have your portions throughout the day; don't have them all for breakfast and lunch, for example.

It takes a while on a workout to really see the results you want. Just keep at it.
You'll see a change in your abilities and energy first before you see significant changes in your body. Also, most people gain a couple of pounds first before they lose them, since you're building muscle. Don't let this scare you, it's normal. You might want to try tracking at first by measuring your waist and going by that.

Make sure you have eaten within an hour before a tough workout. I generally eat a banana. Drink plenty of water through your day (keep a sports bottle of water with you all the time and sip on it). You may also want to consider "feeding" straight after workout with a protein shake. You can take it premixed with you to the gym and drink it straight away after your workout. This will knock out the hunger and feed your body with nutrients. Good luck with your training!
