Hi everyone!

First off, I think these boards are great! The people here seem really cool.

Anyway, I have a question for you all: What are planning to serve for Easter dinner? I think ham (yuck) is traditional but I was thinking of doing tofu-spinach lasagna with french bread and a nice salad. Unconventional, but a favorite at my house .

Otherwise, I might do a tofurky with all the trimmings. That does seem a bit redundant though (did that for Thanksgiving and Christmas). Let me know what your ideas are! Thanks

I did the spinach lasagna for Christmas. I'll probably do the same for Easter. My dad comes over and we eat together. Meanwhile, my omni b/f and his daughter go visiting his mother (she's a meanie and I don't care for her too much so I don't go). It works out good because I don't have anything gross in the kitchen.

I think your idea is good.

There was a great tofurky thread running here at thanksgiving (if you feel like searching for it).

Since I am going to be by myself this Easter I was thinking about making a tofu stir fry with vegetables and taking it to the park if it is warm enough. However I do like the spinach lasagna idea as well.

i'll be at my mom's most likely, as well as a big family thing with my bf's family probably. all omni of course. my mom normally does a ham but i don't know if my brother is going to be there or not. if not she'll probably skip it and we'll do a vegan thing since it'll just be us 2.

as for the bf's family, as usual i'll eat at home before i go, and munch on bread and salad while everyone else eats ham, turkey AND roast beef
