Oh my.. I could even watch the whole thing, and most of it I was just sobbing and covering my eyes. Just listening to it was more than enough.

I am glad I watched it though.

There will never knowingly be any meat, dairy, eggs, leather-- ANY animals products purchased or eaten by me again!

Thank you for everyone here who mentioned this. It is shocking, but it needs to be seen.

It has a very strong effect on some people, me included. I had my mom watch it and it didn't have much effect. I guess some people are so desensitized they just ignore it. Ignorance is not bliss.

I watched it. I kept my eyes open the whole time, but I was sobbing by the end. My family flat-out refused to watch it.

Hi, I'm America, and I refuse to see what is really happening to these animals! -.-

It used to be available on at least Google Video, but since the film received an Oscar nomination (as I recall), the makers of the film said they'd like it to become unavailable for free.

That being said, it can be watched on YouTube. But I'm not going to give a direct link, because I'm unsure about the issue for the above reason.

That's pretty much how I think it is for people. I couldn't watch all of it, and I forced myself just to get to where I did.. How can people be so cruel? It is just so disturbing.

I watched it on youtube, but it was in ten minute segments and has Spanish subtitles. However, I didn't want to wait for it to come in the mail and such. Eheheheh.

I have no idea. I knew basically NOTHING about animal cruelty a year and half ago (when I started looking into it) and everything I found shocked me. I guess people would just rather live in their bubble where nothing is wrong and animals aren't actually harmed for their clothing/medicine/food.

Troub, have you tried compressing the file? Not sure if that works, just a thought. If you compress it enough, you can then upload it to a file sharing site (4share, yousendit, etc) and then give people the link that way. All they have to do is download it, uncompress and watch.

Troub, do I interpret "yousendit" (website?) CAN'T handle it, due to the size limit on their users account? .......And "4share" seems even less likely to handle it (at least all in one go?)

ps, you could put "these" ("word") around a "word" so we know what is a site plz in future!!

Which do you go with, "4share" or the other site?.....and what is the ending to reach the site? dotCOM ~both?

I've not used and have never used any filesharing or filecompression service!... and wonder what copyright restrictions might apply for anyone that does not least !.....or is everything okay & legit, if something is labelled FREE for instance? In other words, even if something is not strictly legal to circulate, if caught out, would only the service get "sued" or its users too ya think ?

well... earthlings was offered for free online originally... the creaters just got caught up in the hollywoodness of it all and now think an award nomination is more important then the free distrubution. ahem.

they only requested google video and the like to remove it because Academy regulations do not allow emmy nominations to be available for free internet downloads - I don't think this regulation extends to private file sharing between friends, but im not 100% sure.

once all this hoopla of getting an emmy is over they will most likely allow free online distrubution again anyway.

--- the video file I have I downloaded right from the Earthlings website!
