What were the first signs you had that you were pregnant?

I've been really tired for the past couple of weeks, have been having mood swings, and am now officially "late." I have not been sick or nauseated at all. Quite the contrary, I've actually been hungrier than usual for the past few days.

My mom's first question when I mentioned being tired was "Do they have EPTs in Korea?" (Don't know. ... Never needed to know before.) Said that extreme fatigue was the first symptom she had with all of her pregnancy. My sister said she remembered being tired as well, but was also sick as could be almost from the beginning.

Am trying to decide whether all the stress of a wedding, the start of a new school year, a pending move and job change, etc., are all just catching up with me, or whether I need to go see whether the one English-speaking doctor in town does pregnancy tests ...

So I don't know if this will scare you, or please you, but that's just about exactly what I felt. Really tired, and extremely hungry all the time, even after I had just eaten. I never once felt sick. Never during the entire 9 months, so there you go. I also found that my boobies were quite tender and soft...

Good luck whatever happens!

Headaches.. and complete exhaustion. I would come home from work, go to sleep, wake up at 10pm just to eat and go back to bed till I had to get up the next morning.

I was never sick at all either..

Fatigue was my very first symptom - I was going to bed at 7:30 some nights!! I also was very hungry, but it mostly helped stave off the nausea after about week 6. If you are fatigued and "late", yes I think a pregancy test is in order. I bet they have over the counter tests available somewhere. If not, yes it might be good to see the doctor.

completely depends upon the person.

before i had my miscarriage (years ago) i didn't even know i was pregnant. when i miscarried (roughly 2 weeks after when menses was supposed to come), i thought--hmm, maybe i was pregnant, maybe i was late. and then, a few months later, i put two and two together and realized i'd been pregnant.

so, it could come with no symptoms. but, the most common is fatigue.

Thanks, all. Got a friend over here to find out the Korean phrase for pregnancy test and am going to go pick one up during my lunch break today. I'm only three or four days late (I think -- can't remember for sure and have never bothered charting), but have been so freakishly tired that it seems something is going on.

I didn't really feel anything abnormal until I was over a week late. I was VERY tired and had no strength (walking up the stairs was a chore!), my boobs got bigger and they hurt. I got depressed very easily and had constant nausea. I kinda went back and forth between being starving and than having no appetite. It really sucked - I hated being pregnant.

I guess if you bought a test then you are likely to have an answer by now (I hope it's the one you want).

I tend to be nearly symptomless pregnant. I have symptoms yes but none that I think AHA, I must be... I have erratic cycles and never wink an eye until 2 months go by. Tired, sure! I go to college full time and work part time job and have a toddler running around, who wouldn't need a nap here or there in this situation. Tender boobs, my period must be just around the corner.

This time my enlarging abdomen gave it away... THEN suddenly all the sympoms add up. AH HA!

Yes, we have an answer. I'm not sure which answer I was hoping for, but the results came back positive. Went to an ob/gyn this afternoon to confirm, and I now have a picture of our .47 cm son/daughter to be.
