I had to submit some expenses to a non-profit organization I belong to, so I printed out a memo and supporting documents and gave a copy to the Treasurer (a woman) and the President at the Board meeting yesterday.

What I did not realize is that everyone on the Board seemed to want a copy of this material, so I told them I would e-mail it to all the Board members.

When I tried to e-mail it to the Treasurer, I got a "bounce back" e-mail saying "Action Requested."

Quote:

When I clicked on the link, I got a "verification" page that had a box with a graphical representation of words, and a request that I type the words in an entry slot and click "Enter."

The words were:

kiss me

While trying to figure out how this woman wanted me to kiss her, I realized I was just supposed to type in the words.

I did this, and the webpage then said that my e-mail would be sent through to the Treasurer's address.

I am wondering how many of you use services like Boxbe to filter your e-mail, and whether you feel it is "worth it," i.e., whether you have gotten flak from people who have been put through this process and were annoyed by it. Also interested in comments about any competing services of this kind.

How do you feel about the somewhat "erotic" nature of the type-in phrase?
