I'm not sure if this is the right spot to post this and i'm sure that no-one else will care but i get really excited when i find new thing that work<br><br><br><br>
My bathroom basin has been getting slower and slower to drain over the past few weeks and DH has been wanting to get some of that horrid draino stuff...So i did some searching and came up with an excellent drain unblocker which is just from a few of my favourite house hold cleaners<br><br><br><br>
1/2 cup bicarb<br><br>
1/2 cup Salt<br><br>
1/4 cup vinegar<br><br><br><br>
Pour Bicarb and salt down first then vinegar<br><br><br><br>
leave to sit for 20min<br><br><br><br>
Then pour a full kettle of boiling water down the sink<br><br><br><br>
It works a treat<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/carrot.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":vebo:"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/carrot.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":vebo:"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/carrot.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":vebo:">

Is bicarb what Aussies call baking soda?<br><br><br><br>
I have had success with this, too. I also recommend that the water with the salt and baking soda be very hot.
