maybe its just a green version of a plum? I don't know but theres a chance. They dont taste like plums but they are really similar.

"Dragon" Plum may be a local name for "Dinosaur Egg" plum. Delicious, quite large plums with mottled green/purple skin, delicate sweet red flesh. Does this sound like your plum?

("Dinosaur Egg" plums are actually hybrids of apricot and plum -- sometimes called "pluots." You learn something new every day!)

Is it a Green Gage Plum? We get these a lot at the supermarket and I love them when they are still a little under-ripe and sour.
