You know, the dogs shouldn't be eaten movement actually annoys me. I started hearing complaints about humans eating dog-meat when I live in South Korea fifteen or so years ago...give or take. Human beings eat animals. In the US...most human beings eat cows, goats, pigs and chickens...as well as fish...turkeys at Thanksgiving, deer and various other wild animals are hunted and eaten. Well, in Asia, people eat animals as well. Some of them eat dogs. And while we have a different perception of this since dogs in the US are not eaten and are historically pets only...people who come from that part of the world clearly have a different perception of eating dogs. Should dog eating be viewed seperately or differently from other animal eating? If you think it is bad to eat dogs, shouldn't you also see it as bad to eat cows and pigs? How is it different?

IMO you should either not eat animals, or at least not complain that someone you've never met on the other side of the world, is eating a different kind of animal than you.
