Most people here who have veg websites have the URL in their signatures and/or they posted in one of the many threads with lists of veg blogs.

I've had one since 1999.

http://shakahara.com

It is nothing fancy. I tried to put as much information as I have time to research, on the animal-vegetable-mineral origin of materials, and also I have pictures of my vegan garden.

I think the opposite of an oxymoron is called a tortism?

I suspect he's trying to say a garden is always vegan, so specifying it was a vegan garden was superfluous. Of course, he's forgetting that many gardeners use animal products, e.g. animal poop as fertiliser, bloodmeal etc.

I thought nearly everyone realized that gardeners, especially organic gardeners, used lots of animal products to feed their plants. It never occurred to me that someone wouldn't realize that. Or that vegan gardeners would want to use plant products instead. My plants ate only other plants, and the only animal matter they ate was animal matter that naturally occurred in the soil due to soil ecology - earthworms, nematodes, insects, small amounts of bird poop from free-living birds flying above. Also, the word for superfluous modification with adjectives or adverbs, is redundant. Not sure what tortism means.

According to the Onelook Dictionary site, which searches thousands of dictionaries, there is no such word as tortism. Not sure which word you are looking for. Possibly tautology.

Based on this and other posts, I'd say you are waging a fanatical and implacable war against the i before e except after c ... rule.

Hello, Soilman. I've been posting with relative frequency over the past six months or so.

Good luck with your website and your gardening.

I've recently set up a forum. The link is in my signature. I'm no longer an admin here on VB, so this new forum is my way of "doing my own thing".

It allows for the previously much discussed 18+ or adult topics, although that is but a small fraction of what it's all about (and you have to join a special usergroup to access/see that forum). It's meant to be a community-spirited, non-commercialised place, free of ads and with a very active and all-ears admin crew i.e. me.

So feel free to come and have a look! As I haven't really advertised the place before, we only have a handful of users so far, so as usual there are opportunities for those who wish to become veteran members and give their opinions on everything regarding the forum set-up, suggest additional software, maybe even contribute graphics for banners, smilies etc. I'm using a very flexible forum software, so there are lots of possibilities.
