what are you eating or not eating, that you're hungry all of the time? That shouldn't be the case, esp if you are filling up with high fiber, nutrient dense foods. Is your statement more of you just want to eat veg foods, or are you really hungry?

Have you seen those new Yai Yai greek yogurt commercials? I dont eat dairy, and always hated yoghurt but those commercials had me thinking about it.

No, I haven't.

Even commercials for, say, a fast food burger make me want a veggieburger.

I wish we didn't spend so much time planning meals, buying and preparing food, and feeding ourselves. Once or twice a month would be better for me, like a python.

It certainly feels like I'm always thinking about food. But everyone's gotta have a hobby, right?

I think about food quite often, but I used to be a culinary student so I guess that's natural. I'd go back to culinary school if I could find one near here that wasn't centered around dead animals (and I can't afford to move cross-country just to attend a vegan culinary school).

Since going vegetarian (working my way to vegan), I've noticed I've been spending a lot of time in produce sections of grocery stores just looking at all the colorful fruits and veggies - even the ones I know I don't like. I'll go in for a few things and end up spending over an hour just wandering around thinking about ways to cook things.

I do spend a lot of time thinking about food or planning it, but I've come to consider it like a hobby by now. I enjoy making a new dish the way I enjoy listening to new music or dancing, plus it keeps me alive of course. I'm not permanently hungry, though.

I luuuurve food! I don't think it has to do with any type of deficiencies...I just like to eat and often think about my next meal or snack. Recently, my bf and I (of 2 years) broke up and I completely lost my appetite. It was the weirdest feeling EVER. I've never NOT been hungry! So for about 2 weeks I basically had to force myself to eat. I lost 5 lbs in those 2 weeks anyway. I have my appetite back now though.
I'm looking forward to some black bean burgers later tonight.

I definatly over eat, I also think about food all the time...if there is something sugary in the cupboards, it's torture! I can be full of food but that sugary stuff is calling to me! I WANT food, I just want it...I don't need it...I just feel like my mouth tastes boring, so I need to taste something nice! lol I also think I fear being hungry, for example, I can have fruit or a bowl of cereal for breakfast and that can keep me full for many hours but as soon as I see it's dinner time, I feel a sort of 'panic' like oh no it's dinner time! I better have some dinner! Even when I'm not hungry....My sister is exactly the same...we think it's our parrents fault lol they do it now when we visit, just feed feed feed us! it's mad! lol

Besides meal-planning and when I'm hungry I don't think about food too much, unless I get a craving. I am really weak when it comes to cravings!

Oh, and when I look at the food porn thread. Then that gets me thinking about food for a while.

I think about food all the time. Not necessarily because I'm hungry but just because food is delicious. I love to cook so I'm often planning out how I'm going to cook my evening meal throughout the day and asking people what they are going to cook. If someone on the phone/net tells me they're eating, I always ask what they are eating because I love to think about food. I don't have a TV but at least 80% of what I download online are cookery programs and even though they are all omni based I still love to watch, unless they are cooking beef and then I usually have to switch off or skip that recipe.

A while ago when I had tonsillitis and was feeling very miserable I would get myself to sleep by thinking of all the delicious meals I would eat when my throat was better and I was well enough to cook.

I read about this once in a magazine
it said if you are hungry all the time even if you are not hungry but want to eat
that means you need to drink a lot of water
