i really like it. its fun and its different from going to the gym and doing the same old thing everyday. some of the songs they play are kind of slutty though lol but its ok because its still super fun. and i am NOT a runner so i cant just go around jogging all the time.

I tried zumba awhile back. I didn't really like it but I think it was because of the instructor. Since there is no 'cue-ing' I found it hard to follow her. I do think it provides a really good workout, however!

I just got home from ZUMBA!! I love it! Yeah, it's kinda slutty, but I just do some shimmies and some thrusts and have a great time.

We just started a zumba class at work this week. I didn't think I'd like it that much since most of my exercise is geared towards becoming better at a sport, but it was a lot of fun. There were a lot of people there that hadn't exercised in years and said they couldn't wait to come back next week. I think that's great.

Was thinking about taking a zumba class. How hard is it to follow without any cues?

if you have a good teacher, if they know that there is a new person there they might show you some of the harder moves befor the songs. thats what my teacher did. and all the dance moves are repeated for the whole song pretty much. so if you figure out how to do the moves the first time they do it in a song than you should do pretty well. and also i think everything is in 8's if you know what i mean if you ever watched any movies when they dance or whatever they just do everything in 8's. lets just say i am not a dancer but i caught on pretty quickly. and our teacher teaches a new song like once a month and and its pretty easy to figure out. and they also use alot of the same moves in different songs.and the moves obviously go with the rhythm of the music. if you can ge thru the first song at a class you should be good for the rest of the class

The klutziest people I know are all dancers. Seriously. People who can't walk without stumbling can make the best dancers.

I think zumba looks like a lot of fun, and I can't wait to get into a class. I am saving for a replacement computer right now. Once I get that taken care of, dance lessons are on!

I have never done it, but want to try. Is it high impact at all? I have a foot injury and can just now start to do low impact things, but no high yet.

I've always wanted to try Zumba too - and since let's face it I'm abit lazy to do it watching a DVD I'm thinking of joining a zumba class. I already tried one and although it was okay I'm always looking for more suggestions.. if possible in Ireland
