I have cat litter in my bed. They have their boxes in the hall outside my bedroom and they track it in. I have special rugs and mats but they still track it in. I can feel it digging into my thighs at night.

Hopefully the men in my life won't mind.

I change my sheets once a week, when I do my "cleaning" which is just changing my sheets, vacuuming, and doing 2 loads of laundry.

I never notice cat litter in my bed. All 3 sleep with me. When I have satin sheets on my bed, I notice stuff pretty easily, too, but never litter.

Yes I am always findign litter in my sheets, its the tiny scoopable stuff.

I guess if I had carpets that would not happen , when I had carpet I never had cat litter anywhere but right around the cat box.

I think fibers keep them traped so you can vaccume them up but with tile floors they just kinda go everywhere

I LOVE my cats to death, I truely do, but I guess I love super-fresh, just-washed clean sheets even more - call me selfish...

The thought of those little feet that were just in the litter box now on the clean sheets where I lay my face? Ewwwwww...... nothing grosses me out more...

My cats are cute. They snuggle with me, either on the couch or in bed. I don't have an issue with it. When I lie on my side, usually 1 or 2 will curl up in the little "spoon" area of my stomach/knees. The third will usually curl up in the crook behind my bent knees. My only problem is the HAIR. *sigh*

My sister uses wood stove pellets as cat litter. It's exactly like feline pine except you can get a 40 pound bag of it for $4 at Menards. It's even flushable. Back when she used clay based litter, it was everywhere. Whenever I was at her place I'd always do a good footscraping before I put on my shoes.

it's gross, but we do sometimes have cat litter in the bed. Especially if we've been lazy and don't sweep the laundry room and bathroom daily.

That is my feeling on the matter. On a good day.

I had a cat who would literally lay on my head at night. His name was Father Dougal McGuireDougal to his friends. He put an end to cats in the bedroom real quick despite my exwife's many protestations. She got him, two dogs and another cat in the divorce. I got the remaining four.

I never thought about litter in the bed. Yuck! I make my cats wash their paws with soap and hot water before they come anywhere near me. Well, not really. I tried once but anyone who's ever tried to train their cats knows how that goes.

Having a face full of fur from my pillow much less having them pace around the bed all night was enough to lock them out of my bedroom during the day and lock all four of the little blighters in the basement at night so they don't scratch at my door in the morning.

Don't get me wrong, I love my cats. Well, maybe not love. I like them. Well, one of them's all right. Sometimes. But no way are they going to disturb my sleep. That's my nextdoor neighbor's dog's job.

And to be honest, if I hopped in some chick's bed and it was like the Sahara desert only with a higher thread count in there, I guarantee you I would have a very important business meeting the next morning and wouldnt' be able to stay the night. Sorry.

What helped for me was to get a differant style of litter box.

I got a large storage bin one of the big tall square ones.

Cut a large hole out in the top of the lid and used tacky glue to tack on carpet on it and the cats use that as a litter box.

Kills two annoying things at once, smelly litter box and litter everywere.

OK it does not solve the problem 100% but I do not have to change my sheets daily either anymore

I have a litter robot. I quit using it and went back to using a big rubbermaid storage bin. I cut a hole in the top, and they use that. I went from a $350 litter box to a $7 one. Go figure.
