I can't find chocolate Silk soy milk at any of the stores around here any more. I thought it was just the Publix stores, because I could still find it at other stores, but then I went to Whole Foods yesterday, and they didn't have it, either. Is there a chocolate shortage or something?

I really hope they didn't discontinue the chocolate! We used to love the 8th Continent chocolate until they discontinued it and we made the move to Silk. I guess we'll get out the Hersheys to add to the vanilla.

If you have Aldi's in your area, they have chocolate (and vanilla and plain) soymilk that's good and less expensive than Silk.

I keep having the same problem with Silk unsweetened. One store actually stopped carrying it, and many others that do stock it are often out. Luckily I've found one store that seems to stock it consistently.

I just saw it in the store this morning so it's not discontinued by Silk at least. Maybe your stores discontinued it? Silk has so many different flavors and varieties of their milks that it seems that stores are often having to stop selling a certain one in order to make shelf space for others. I've noticed that since Silk introduced their new coconut and almond milks that some of my stores appear to have done this.

I just checked the store I buy stuff from most often (Lunds/Byerlys in St Louis Park MN) - they're stocking one size Silk Light Chocolate Soymilk and 3 sizes Silk Chocolate Soymilk, so it may just be your store dropped the product. And also stocking Silk Almond Dark Chocolate (might try that one).

I hope not. If they do, they will have a highly pissed off ME to contend with. I don't drink it, but I support a young woman with fairly severe autism who drinks it like clockwork every morning.

That girl will throw an absolute ****fit if it's discontinued.

And if I have to spend a day in the ER because she went behavioral and tried to shove something inedible down her throat over it... So help me God, I will end the people responsible.

Fromper, have you talked to the managers of the stores you went to? Maybe they know why you can't find Silk choco on their shelves. Perhaps, as fadeaway suggested, they were removing it to make room for other brands/flavors.

If you can't get a satisfactory answer from the store managers, then perhaps you should contact Silk and ask them why you suddenly can't find the chocolate in your area. Also, I'm sure you can special order it if you really want it.

Yeah, I thought it might just be Publix making room for other flavors at first, until I saw Whole Foods didn't have it, either. I have been getting it at Target the last few weeks while Publix didn't have it, but I haven't been back there in the last week or so.
