I wondered if anyone can recommend for me a good detox plan? I have been going through a stressful time and gotten really down and depressed. I have messed up with my allergies and feel really bad al lover I want to get sorted and tomorrow is my new year (celtic calendar) so seems perfect timing. I have some food intolerances so can't have dairy, eggs, wheat, rye, corn, durum wheat or potato. The worse of these is the diary and wheat, the others I seem to be able to get away with a bit. After this I am seriously considering becoming vegan as it would just be easier I feel. Am going out tomorrow to see if I can get some vegan cookbooks (I prefer books to online) and start reading up. I already take a multivitamin/mineral supplement and am thinking of taking some omega oils too.

I need to drink more though I find I don't get very thirsty. This has been an issue all my life. I do eat a lot of fruit though which has a lot of water, maybe that makes a difference.

Any advice much appreciated

Would a raw food detox be too crazy or silly for you to try? Maybe you could try this for just a week, it will probably benefit you more than just abstaining from some processed foodstuffs for a while. Raw food diets are excellent at cleansing the liver and removing a lot of toxins.

I'd be willing to give it a try I'm the only one in my house doing it so need to fairy simple and not too expensive. I should of been a bit clearer By silly I meant unhealthy, how can only drinking lemonade and honey be ok? Silly people

I don't eat much processed food, and am already vegetarian but I keep failing on the dairy and sometimes wheat and I feel really bad for it so need to stop. Wheat free vegan recipes would be idea for me
