Has anyone found a decent vegan cheese in Australia? If yes, where did you get it from?

I am in Perth and am yet to find anything that passes the taste test.

Thanks in Advance.

Notzarella is meant to be good from what i've heard. You have to order that online as its n/a in the shops just yet.

cheezly is ok on pizza, but I mostly use daiya. You cant buy that in aus yet but a mate of mine imports it in bulk and I buy my share from him.

It surprises me that Daiya isn't here. You are lucky that you have access.

I'll google Notzarella.

Thanks stasher

I like it a lot. It's not perfect, but it is certainly the best cheese at the moment by far.

It's not that awesome that it is worth the money i am spending on it, especially as I find you have to use more than you think to get good results in your cooking, but im willing to put up with that as I can't really do without it now.

i dont think it will be long before it is available here in aus.

I live up in the bush and I always get excited when we go to the city and I can get some vegan cheese, only to be let down mostly. The best I have found so far for meltability and taste is teese. Still not great though.

I just reckon it's one of those things... nothing will ever taste or cook like real cheese.

Me, I love me some nooch.
