"(CNN) -- A large number of dead birds were found in the city of Falkoping, Sweden, Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, according to a press release on the website of the Swedish National Veterinary Institute."

Is it possible that these birds just hit the window of a building somewhere while they were in flight? This happened to dozens of Bohemian Waxwings at Ottawa City Hall in the capital of Canada back in 2013.
