Hey!<br><br>
I happened to spot this <a href="http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda-compare-prices/Jam_And_Spreads/ASDA_Dark_Chocolate_Spread_400g.html" target="_blank">dark chocolate spread</a> (sorry can't find the ingredients online). I picked some up as it looked vegan to me (the only possible suspicious ingredient was 'natural flavouring' but as it was labelled vegetarian and only has 'may contain traces of dairy' as opposed to 'contains..' on the label I figured it was okay.<br><br>

That is the one I bought the other day but then I couldn't find it labelled as vegan online so I didn't eat it.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/huh.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="">

I'm pretty sure it's okay, I can;t imagine why it wouldn't be. The ingredients looked fine.<br><br>
I found the <a href="http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/search/searchcontainer.jsp?trailSize=1&searchString=dark+chocolate+spread&domainName=Products&headerVersion=v1&_requestid=5041" target="_blank">ingredients</a>, but I've also sent them an email to ask :)

Oh yum, cool <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)"><br><br>
Even places that label things vegan don't always do so consistantly, so I wouldn't go by the "if it doesn't say vegan, it isn't" principle!<br><br>
I love chocolate spread but usually the vegan ones are very expensive. I wish there was an asda close to me, there is to my mum and last time I was there I bought four vegan salad creams!

I hope it is okay, I thought maybe it was just a cross contamination issue. I know a vegan on another forum said that Asda did two vegan chocolate spreads.
