I bought a bag of cranberries that I have no clue what to do with now. I was hoping to put them in cereal but they are way too bitter. Can someone give me some ideas? Would they taste less bitter if I froze them first?
You really can't eat cranberries on their own. They are waaaay too tart. I have a recipe for cranberry nut cookies that use fresh Cranberries in them. I got it online somewhere so you could certainly google it. I used 1/2 ww pastry flour so it was healthier, then made an orange glaze and drizzled it on top, which made it less healthy. *shrugs* You win some, you lose some.
