We only accept new registrations from users who are veg*n or plan on going veg*n. New registrations that do not fit this criteria will be deleted.

Name calling, when aimed at a particular individual, is not permitted. This includes using variations of a member name. Any post that contains name calling will be deleted.

Any post containing inappropriate language (left to the moderators discretion - generally anything that would not be acceptable on cable television) will be deleted. Please keep in mind we do have younger members and some who simply do not appreciate this type of language.

Any post containing statements that discourage others from posting or expressing their opinions will be deleted. This would include statements such as "If you don't know what you're talking about just shut your hole."

You may have noticed that in each of these instances the entire post will be deleted instead of just editing the text in question. We all need to take responsibility for what we post. To me it's about respect. If you don't take the time to think about what you're posting then we're not going to take the time to clean up your mess. If a mod chooses to edit rather than delete that is their decision but the official board policy will be to delete. If a moderator chooses to notify you that your post has been edited or deleted that is their decision but the official board policy is that you will not be notified. If I find that we are constantly editing or deleting posts from a particular member then that member may be suspended or banned.

If a moderator needs to contact you it will typically be through our private messaging system. Even though you can disable private messaging we highly recommend that you leave it enabled. If one of our moderators needs to contact you and you have private messaging disabled you may be SOL.

Post slutting is frowned upon and may result in a suspension of your posting privileges. Post slutting generally refers to: off-topic chit-chat that would be of no interest to other members, posting two or more times in succession (edit your original post rather than adding a new one), or posting solely for the purpose of raising your post count.

Spamming the boards, the chat, or through the pm or e-mail functions is not permitted and will result in an immediate ban. If you see spam on the boards please report the post to a moderator. If you receive spam through the pm or e-mail functions please forward it to a moderator and we will take the appropriate action.
