So heres my story
I am a 23 yo female who has over my short amount of years discovered that my body has a weird reaction to meat. I won't go into the details as they really aren't pleasant and I don't feel you all need to know them. The point is I am allergic to most meat products and have decided, based off of this to become a vegetarian. Having been raised in a home that was very much meat orientated I have been doing some struggling trying to make my diet healthy and tasty while still remaining meat free. I am a college student living off of a very small budget ($200 for the month budgeted out for food) and thought that maybe through this forum I could find new and creative ways to remain on a meat free diet that does not lack in taste and nutrition.

I am a carb-a-holic, I love pasta which is my down fall. I do supplement my diet with dairy products on occasion though those don't always do well with my stomach unless they are cooked and processed with heat. So I do tend to go for the almond milk rather than the estrogen filled soy.

Other than that, I hope that maybe I will meet some interesting people and look forward to many good conversations.

Cool! And welcome!
You might want to check out our frugal forum, if budgets are a problem for you. I've gotten some great money saving ideas there

What are you majoring in in college?
I hope you enjoy the forums!
