Coconut & Sesame Slices

Category: Desserts - Cookies

Suitable for a: vegan diet

Ingredients:

------------------------------------------------------

4 oz desiccated coconut

1 oz soya flour

4 oz brown sugar

4 oz rolled oats (or instant works too)

1 oz sesame seeds

4 oz vegetarian margarine (butter works too)

1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

------------------------------------------------------

- Mix coconut, flour, oats & sesame seeds together in a big bowl

- Melt margarine and pour over dry ingredients

- Stir in vanilla extract

- Press mixture into 11x7" tray

- Bake in preheated oven at 190 C or 375 F for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown. (20 minutes makes them more chewy, 30 minutes more crunchy)

- Mark into slices whilst hot and leave to cool in tray.

Additional comments:

------------------------------------------------------

Keeps for atleast a week in an air-tight container.
