Coconut & Sesame Slices<br><br>

Suitable for a: vegan diet<br><br><br><br><br><br>
Ingredients:<br><br>
------------------------------------------------------<br><br><br><br>
4 oz desiccated coconut<br><br>
1 oz soya flour<br><br>
4 oz brown sugar<br><br>
4 oz rolled oats (or instant works too)<br><br>
1 oz sesame seeds<br><br>
4 oz vegetarian margarine (butter works too)<br><br>
1 tsp vanilla extract<br><br><br><br><br><br>
Instructions:<br><br>
------------------------------------------------------<br><br><br><br>
- Mix coconut, flour, oats & sesame seeds together in a big bowl<br><br>
- Melt margarine and pour over dry ingredients<br><br>
- Stir in vanilla extract<br><br>
- Press mixture into 11x7" tray<br><br>
- Bake in preheated oven at 190 C or 375 F for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown. (20 minutes makes them more chewy, 30 minutes more crunchy)<br><br>
- Mark into slices whilst hot and leave to cool in tray.<br><br><br><br><br><br>
Additional comments:<br><br>
------------------------------------------------------<br><br><br><br>
Keeps for atleast a week in an air-tight container.<br><br><br><br>
