I'd like to get a t-shirt or something for one of my friends birthday that's global warming/environment related. I've found loads of sites that make clothes ethically and from environmentally sound materials, but I can't find any with designs that are relevant to this, which is what I'd really like. Does anyone know of any sites?

Btw, I'm the UK but don't mind ordering from the US.

Thanks

cafepress.com has various clothing items with messages about just about everything on them. They're just regular items, though, not specifically environmentally friendly or anything, but some of the messages are pretty cool.

ETA: Have you seen this thread? Maybe one of the listed sites will have what you're looking for

Find a design you like, buy a shirt from a thrift store, and replicate the design yourself.

www.northernsun.com is one of my faves. They have a LOT of political stuff, but there is a decent environmental section as well.

Whole Foods (near me anyway) is selling a t-shirt with a penguin on the front with sunglasses and the shirt reads "Is it hot in here?"

Thanks for all the suggestions, I spent ages searching and didn't find any of them myself I'll probably buy it off one of those sites, but I like Skylark's idea of making it myself, I haven't done that for ages.

yeah, i like to make my own shirts too. i buy plain ones and then i make transfers on my computer--print them onto that transfer paper and iron them on.

my husband has been doing transfers since he was a kid. he used to make his own 'star wars' inspired t-shirts. he had one for every day of the week. he was a creative kid.

www.fairganic.co.uk sells organic t-shirts with "nuclear power - no thanks!" messages, and they are sold in the UK
