Recently discovered the Chocolate Brownie Z Bar made by the fine folks at Clif Bar. It is vegan, low in fat, and, most importantly, kicks mucho tuchis.

It is chewy and, unlike LARA or MAYA bars, quite chocolatey without that funky date or fruity aftertaste. It's not big and only 120 calories, so it's just a snack, but it is really, really good.

On a scale of 1 to 5 egg replacers, I give it a 10. It's very good.

Sorry for being obtuse. That's my rating system. Some people use stars, some use thumbs, (being a vegan) I use vegan egg-replacers.

And you are right. They are the frizznucking shizznit.

Their other chocolate brownie bar (for adults
) has 3 times the protein, and it is also pretty yummy.

(Btw: I was just kidding about the "for adults" part. Of course grown-ups can enjoy the Z Bar, too.
)

ETA: Whoa, this is pretty cool:

Wow, Janie that is pretty cool. I had no idea about that.

And for the record, I never let "for kids" stop me, as I just see myself as a big kid anyway.

The Clif Chocolate Brownie is very good, but the Z Bar makes me do that thing that dogs do when you scratch them just in the right place.

Yeah, I wonder how much of the market for ZBars is actually comprised of adults, heh. I like that they are free from soy protein isolate, etc. and that the calories are low. It's nice to have some "healthy" junk food.
