Recently discovered the <a href="http://www.clifbar.com/eat/eat.cfm?location=zbar&id=278" target="_blank">Chocolate Brownie Z Bar</a> made by the fine folks at Clif Bar. It is vegan, low in fat, and, most importantly, kicks mucho tuchis.<br><br><br><br>
It is chewy and, unlike LARA or MAYA bars, quite chocolatey without that funky date or fruity aftertaste. It's not big and only 120 calories, so it's just a snack, but it is really, really good. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/yes.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=""><br><br><br><br>
On a scale of 1 to 5 egg replacers, I give it a 10. It's very good.

These things are awesome. What do you mean by "egg replacers"?<br><br><br><br>
<<just eats them for the chocolate <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/tongue3.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":p">

Sorry for being obtuse. That's my rating system. Some people use stars, some use thumbs, (being a vegan) I use vegan egg-replacers.<br><br><br><br>
And you are right. They are the frizznucking shizznit.

I've only ever had the peanut butter ones, and they were super yummy.

Their other chocolate brownie bar (for adults <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/wink3.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=";)">) has 3 times the protein, and it is also pretty yummy. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/lick.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":lick:"><br><br><br><br>
(Btw: I was just kidding about the "for adults" part. Of course grown-ups can enjoy the Z Bar, too. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/grin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":D">)<br><br><br><br>
ETA: Whoa, this is pretty cool:<br><br><br><br><div class="quote-container"><span>Quote:</span>

Wow, Janie that is pretty cool. I had no idea about that.<br><br><br><br>
And for the record, I never let "for kids" stop me, as I just see myself as a big kid anyway. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/hamster.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":hamster:"><br><br><br><br>
The Clif Chocolate Brownie is very good, but the Z Bar makes me do that thing that dogs do when you scratch them just in the right place.<br><br><br><br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)">

I'll definitely have to try it then!

Yeah, I wonder how much of the market for ZBars is actually comprised of adults, heh. I like that they are free from soy protein isolate, etc. and that the calories are low. It's nice to have some "healthy" junk food. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)">
