So, since going vegan almost a year ago, I was never fully convinced that I would be able to achieve a healthy existence without eggs/dairy. That's the confession part. The no meat part didn't concern me. I just had a physical and I asked my doctor if there was a test to check for protein and she said there was a basic test for that. My protein level is good, iron good, thyroid good (I was concerned about the soy/thyroid controversy). So that fact that I have been feeling like cr*p the last few weeks has nothing to do with my diet! Hurray! Oh, yeah and my cholesterol levels are all excellent. The good/bad/ratio are all excellent! So I just wanted everyone to know that I am a perfect example of someone who is vegan (well, strict vegetarian) and a perfectly healthy specimen! The end.
