How old is he? That sounds like what crazy people do, i wouldn't even keep meat in the house, but i'm going to assume your partner is omni or something? I'd really need to know the age to try and give you my opinion at all.

Try talking to him and telling him that he needs to respect other people's choices, especially if he ever expects anyone to respect his, give him an analogy of something he hates, and ask him how he would feel if you put that in his bed or his food, maybe spiders if he's afraid of it, and tell him that's how he made you feel when he did that and it's not nice.

He is my eldest son, he is 19 years old - He is gay and studying medicine. he is quite intelligent . =(

The reason why there is meat in my house is because my wife is omni.

I'm finding it a little hard to take this thread seriously. He put meat in your shake and meat in your bed, (really?) and you're asking people on the internet what to do about it? Also what does his sexuality have to do with anything?

Oh alright same age as me, well then since he's so much older just tell him he's being an ass lol. Once we're this old it's hard to change our views until we change it ourselves, if it's not affecting him just tell him to respect your choices and that you are doing what is best for your health and the animals, tell him you feel judged by him and that you're sure he would not like that, usually if you appeal to emotion with people and make them feel guilt it works, better than getting mad or anything because they get defensive.

I thought about suggesting that he might be a troll, but I think that's against the rules. (discouraging others to post)

I find it very hard to believe that a man would let his son treat him with such disrespect in his own house and come onto an internet forum for advice, I mean does your wife know? If you havent talked to her first why not?

And posting in other threads saying fish is ok to eat...which breaks forum (and vegetarian) rules.

Ehh figure giving advice couldn't hurt whether it's real or not, i also didn't assume it was a guy, could be a woman. And i was super disrespectful to my parents, when i was younger of course but ya it was pretty bad, i don't think they had many forums to go onto back then lol but my parents might have asked for advice online if they could have.

I agree with you. He also said in another thread that he's been vegetarian his whole life, but he thinks God put animals here for us to eat them. That doesn't make any sense.

If it were your 5 year old I'd say take him to a psychiatrist. Your ADULT child? You shouldn't need to ask.
I ain't buying it!

...and fish is meat...and wool isn't vegan...
