so i basically have 2 questions

1) is it ok to change facewashes like everyday? because i have like 6 different ones some are scrubs some are just cleansers and some are masks, and depending on my mood i use a different one. is that bad for my skin because i litterally change face wash every day. this then leads me to next my question

2) is that why i keep getting these annoying little pimples on my chin? there the really painful pimples and as soon as one goes away another one pops up. its like in my chin dimple i guess it gets greasy in there ew. actually i dont think thats from switching face washes because ive had this problem for a while. but what could be causing it and does anyone know of any good face stuff? i use burts bees and freemans and equate apricot scrub.
these pimples are getting annoying though because i dont wear makeup so there kinda just out there for everyone to see

It's possible the washes are causing the skin irritation. Or it's possible you're just prone to acne and will have it no matter what. Have you tried switching to something less harsh and more natural, like just a natural soap bar? I use either Trader Joe's Tea Tree Oil soap (bar) or the Peppermint one they carry (Dr. Something, it's fair trade and awesome). I found that when I use a ton of different face products, my skin is more irritated. Ever since switching to just soap, my skin cleared. I use a scrub (Clinique) about once a week in the shower to get rid of dead skin, with a flat loofa.

How often are you using the scrub? My cousin went to school for skin care and hair, she said those scrubs can do more harm than good.

Using a lot of face products always irritated my skin, too. It's also hard to get the full benefits of any product if you're not using it regularly/consistently.

I've struggled with acne in the past and my dermatologist has always recommended just simple soap. I really like the pure olive oil soap bar from Kiss My Face. Also, I use the tiniest bit of pure tea tree oil on any breakouts when I have them, dabbing it on with a q-tip. Harsh face washes with those "anti-acne" chemicals only ever broke me out worse.

I do agree that if you're prone to acne, though, good skin care alone may not stop it. Despite my best efforts, I actually had to take Accutane a few years ago to get mine under control, so I won't sit here and tell you that your face wash is your problem. Some of us just got the oily skin type On the bright side, it's just little spots on your chin.

Can't remember where I read it, but I've seen a few different articles recommend against using scrubs on any kind of skin irritation or breakout - it can break the skin, even if only slightly, and spread the bacteria around your face. Fun times.

I have found simple is best. I use an unscented Shea butter facial bar from an independent small business soap maker. It straightened my skin right out...no more redness or tiny pimples on my forehead.

I used to have very similar problems. I've found that since switching from facial scrubs and washes to all-natural soaps (I buy mine at the local farmer's market) that my skin has improved a lot.

Also with the chin thing do you rest your chin on your hand a lot? That could be putting oil in your chin if you are.

i do not really touch my chin alot atleast i dont think i do. and the weird thing is i dont have an acne problem just on my chin because i have like a dimple or something i guess you would call it and i guess it gets oily in there. thats really the only place i get pimples. and i only use my scrub like once a week. and i only ever use 1 facial product a day. i just dont no what the problem is but there ugly and they hurt. i may try tea tree oil is that something that you put on when you already have a pimple?

Yeah, I started using it as a cruelty-free substitute to benzoyl peroxide. It dries up spots very well if you just dab it on them. You can also use it as a toner all over your face, though it can be pretty strong so you probably want to dilute it if you do.
