Cat afraid of hunting (funny)

I'm sorry. I remember you posting about her when I was also going through my first cats old age, and ills that accompined it. I just lost my Mitzi, the godmother to all the rescues that have stayed in my home since.
Now I have nine, and they all are very much domestic divas. Through the years they've seen a few mice, and thought they had a new playmate. Very good at keeping them quarentined though! They were few and far between.
When I moved into this house they surrounded the largest beetle I;ve ever seen alive. It was almost an inch and half long, very shiney black. I drove him to a park because I was kinda creeped out.
We have very few insects here now that I think of it

Yesterday this one spent the evening hunting a bug. I was asleep at the time (or I would have put the bug outside).

All of a sudden, she runs into the bedroom screaming and tries to get under the covers, as though Sasquatch was chasing her.

Apparently, she killed the bug and was really upset about it. lol Maybe she's really a vegetarian.

I'm sorry about your loss, but I can't help laughing at the younger cat's reaction to killing a bug.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's good that you have such a sweet little cat to lift your spirits, though. She sounds like a darling.

My husband was watching this and said she was enjoying stalking it. Then she just went for it and pounced on it, and freaked out when she realized it was dead.
