I never vote first in my own poll because then people know what I voted. Although if I don't vote soon I'll be bumped down another notch.

Strange.... we primarily use kilometres here, yet we don't call it "kilometreage", we call it mileage (have to see about changing that!), or the odometre reading.

Anyway, my car died on October 10, 1997 and its reading was about 50,000 kms (approx. 32,000 miles). I had had it for a few years..... when I first got it (about 1994) the reading was only 25,000 kms, and it had been built in 1977.

So that is 25,000 kms in about 17 years for the previous owner, then 25,000 kms in 3 years for me.

I have just a little over 55,000. Even though she's a 98 model, I purchased it in Nov of 97. So, she's going on 6 years old. Still looks fine though.

I have 37,722 Miles (I usually remember the exact amount). I had the 3 year/ 36,000 mile warranty going which is now over... and I didnt even get to use it. I guess that's a good thing though. It's a 2000 Ford ZX2.

We should have another poll about gas mileage. I'm willing to bet that people here tend to make more environmental friendly decisions when buying cars then the general population. Argh.. now I'm curious, guess I'll start one...

That doesn't have a leather-wrapped steering wheel? I was going to get a Focus but the ones I wanted all came standard with the leather wheel. Ford's loss.

i am truly lucky that i am vaguely aware of what color my car is. i cannot imagine a day it would occur to me to look at the miles. one day i was clicking my keys at the wrong car--once i realized it was not mine i also became aware that most people would not have even considered the color to be similar!!

Damn. "My" car has 87,000+ in just under 4 years. It is my car for business travel, which has heated up over the past year. I also had been commuting 18 miles one way for some time.

Mrs. Tame's is much lower, and we use mine on the weekend as much as possible to save hers.

I plan on keeping my Accord another 4 years, but I will buy a new car in another 2 or so. Not sure what. Then I'll keep the Accord soley for any business travel. I hope to get 225,000 miles out of it before passing it on to Tame, Jr.

for ZX2,

Quote:

Leather Wrapped Steering Wheelrequires ZX2 Deluxe or Premium Group Packages

and for focus,

Quote:

Leather-wrapped steering wheel (Not available on ZX3 or ZX5 Base)
