Based on these facts, what is the general consensus of VB Members.
1) Bees are not killed in the process of bee keeping.
2) Bees are not harmed in anyway during the process.
3) Bees are insects and not animals
4) Honey is 100% Flower Based coming from the nectar and pollen of flowers.
With all this said can a Vegan consume Honey and still bear the badge Vegan?

For the record I DO NOT CONSUME HONEY in any way or form. I am just in a debate with a carnivore who is arguing that I can ingest honey without feeling guilty. She is saying that Honey is far more healthier than sugar. What do you guys say? My Personal take is I don't see myself consuming honey as personally I feel as if I am robbing the bees of their food and depriving their young in the same breath.

2) Yes they are.
3) Insects ARE animals.
4) Honey is made in the bodies of bees. They regurgitate the pollen and nectar to make the honey.
