I went to http://www.caloriesperhour.com to calculate how many calories I burn riding a stationary bike, and was curious about how accurate their results are. I put in all of the correct data - I'm a female, weigh around 128, and today I went 18.91 miles in 1 hour. It said I burned 726 calories! Is that even possible? lol

Does anyone have any input on this? And also, do any of you know of any accurate calories burned calculators?

That sounds like an awful lot of miles to do in just one hour!

On my stationary exercise bike I burn (on average) about 10 calories a minute.

Hope this helps.

I can maintain ~20 mph on stationary bikes, but it is no walk in the part (it rather an indoor bike-ride. ). According to the bikes at the gym, that burns ~803 kCal/hr. However, I am a 160 lb male human.
