So I heard a while back that they had to pull meet your meat. I think I did at least.

Anyhow, I was watching the butterball video at www.butterballcruelty.com and it had Meet Your Meat as well. I am scared to watch it. Okay, I watched the first 20 seconds and had to stop. First, because it is so terrible to watch and secondly because I am at work and if I start crying the hotel guests will not understand.

At any rate. I just wanted to put this out there for new people and for the veterans in case they wanted to remember why they're doing what they're doing.

Yeah. I just watched the Meet Your Meat last night. It was horrible! I now feel extremely guilty about eating eggs, milk products, etc., too. I just don't know how I'm going to stop eating them.

My professor at school told us how they breed them to have no fat on their bodies or something. He doesn't like commercial poultry. He also said.. "They are not supposed to be that color naturally." I think he understands why I don't eat meat.

Well, I hope it inspires more people to cut out things too. Less people eating it means less being killed and more people choosing alternatives. Maybe in 50 years, there will be Seiten and Tofu and Tempeh on menus everywhere. Wouldn't that be awesome!?

Just start by taking things out gradually. That is what I'm doing and it really isn't that hard after you educate yourself. A good book to start with is "The Idiots Guide to Vegan Living".

Well. Maybe it was Earthlings? One of the talked about videos on here got nominated or something and they couldn't show it for free anymore. I said "I think it did at least" because I wasn't sure. So it was never pulled and has always been there. Regardless the turkey stuff is good.
