by the way, folks, some business ideas that you think would be a sure thing often turn out not to be. At the height of the low-carb food craze of the previous decade, a small market opened up here in Santa Monica selling strictly low-carb and no-carb food items.

It closed a year later.

yeah i am starting to think anything we suggest might actually be a brilliant idea. for example, poo gum could be sold as a practical joke item.

I think it has, but how anyone would recognize the flavor as poo is beyond me.

There's a line of fragrances with smells like "dirt," "condensed milk," "celery," and "turpentine" - that smell like those things.
http://www.demeterfragrance.com/Prod...?ProductID=853

I've smelled them before in a store - they do smell like their titles. Why do you want dirt smell?

I want dirt smell because I love the smell of the earth. it reminds me of gardening and nature and just being a kid again. i also consider myself a down to earth person. sounds weird but yeah. I am not sure how it would smell on me though. I went to a perfume specialty store once to see if they had any of these and they didn't have them.

actually i would rather have grass than dirt. i love the smell of freshly wet grass after it has rained. especially if it was just cut.

Well, think about what you could really stand to smell on yourself all day. I think some sweet smells get irritating after awhile, but maybe that's just me. And some of the chemical smells like turpentine or paint might make people uneasy - I try to stay away from fumes. I'd go for the nature smells.
