Aimeee!
What does your favorite piece of jewelry look like?
My favorite piece is my engagement ring. It's small, but I like it that way. It's very simple and pretty. I'm not a big diamond girl.
Kickin' around the house: Shoes, sandals, slippers, socks, or barefoot?
Barefoot, unless it's chilly. Then I like knee-high socks!
What's your favorite kind of music?
Classical. I like piano music and strings.
What kind(s) of movies do you like best? Do you have any favorite three-hanky weepers?
I don't watch movies often, but when I do, they're usually romantic comedies or dramas. I also love movies that make you think. I'm cool with action movies, but they're not my favorite. The only movies I can think of that make me cry are The Love Letter (Hallmark movie) and sometimes Disney movies. Yes, I cry when watching Disney movies. People say The Notebook is a tear-jerker, but I haven't seen it yet.
What's your idea of a nice, romantic evening with your SO?
We can always enjoy an evening at home, but I looove a night out on the town, eating dinner at Zenith and listening to the Symphony. I love dressing up and going out for a "date."
What kind of lunch would you pack for a picnic in the park with him?
Hmm... back in high school we used to have "Subway picnics" at the park, so I'd probably try to recreate that for fun! Yves "turkey" sandwiches with Vegenaise and all the veggie fixings, a huge fruit salad, some potato chips, and two wine glasses filled with sparkling apple cider. That was our tradition.
Are there any pets in your life?
YES!! Gerbils! My babies!! Amadeus and Milton, named after Mozart and Friedman. They are the most precious little things you have ever seen (unless, of course, you have little furbabies of your own.
). I love them with my entire heart. They seemed so miserable in their little home in the store where I found them. They were the only gerbils there, and they seemed really sad and lonely. Now they seem happier, more active, (and mischievous at times!), and although they aren't "free," I am happy that I was able to give them a much better, larger, safer, and cleaner home than what they had.
How you do REALLY feel about the Amish?
I don't know a lot about them, despite growing up practically next to their farms. They always seemed quiet but friendly. Sometimes I would see them in Walmart (they even have horse stables in the parking lot!) and wonder what it's like for them to come into "our world." Even though they are a big part of our culture, they are still pretty isolated, even where I am from.
