Linda Johns "Wild & Woolly" is a very good book. I was skeptical at first, but it really is a light read. Her descriptions of the woodland parts she lives in makes you feel like you're walking through a dream. It's humorous in it's own way and I know that I can really relate to some of the things she's done.

"I have nothing but the deepest admiration for Linda Johns. She is, quite clearly, a genuine lover of all creatures great and small." - Jim Wight

I haven't read any of her other books, but will likely be reading "For the Birds" next.

I guess I like this book so much because I was losing touch with myself and who I am, felt there was something missing. Growing up in small nature camps of northern ontario I miss that life. Reading this book has helped me rediscover what is missing in my life and bring out that person I had lost within myself.
