Apparently i need a wider pan to cook 2 batches of seitan at once. When boiling seitan, will it cook properly when about 1/3 of the chicken breast size seitan are floating above the water? They're just too crowded and can float horizontally

I'm pretty sure you want it all to be covered by the broth so as not to dry out, and to taste nice (if you're using seasonings, etc.)

I have been doing a TON of seitan cooking/experimenting as of late, and I noticed if my pot was too crowded and all pieces not nicely submerged, it didn't turn out as good. I never boil tho- ever...low gentle simmer with lid on to keep in steam. My latest fave way though is baking the seitan- hands down love it!
