well it's official...the baby mockingbird the hubby rescued 10 days ago is doing so wonderful that i now have to decide what to do with her.....evidently parrot hand-feeding formula is like birdie steroids for wild birds. And now even tho' mockingbirds are nowhere near endangered i have to apply to the great state of florida for a permit to keep scout (named after "To kill a mockingbird" of course). I also found out that i can get in trouble for saving her without a wildlife rehab permit...so i may have to get that just to save aggravation. who'da tunk such a tiny bird could be such a pain???
