I have a month to design and conduct a lab or an experiment for my IB Biology course.<br><br><br><br>
I'm trying to look online, but so far, nothing... and the thing is, I can do anything I want...<br><br><br><br>
So yeah... I know this is kind of broad... but any ideas what so ever?<br><br><br><br>

I was just watching the news about spirulina being used for long space flights as a source for protein.<br><br><br><br>
Maybe you could could get a spirulina culture, grow it out (I assume algae doesn't take all that long to grow), extract and measure protein content (assuming you have access to the equipment needed and maybe a prof to show you how to use it). I'm pretty sure GF columns can be used combined with a mass spec for protein but don't quote me on that.<br><br><br><br>
If all goes well you can write an article about your findings and submit it to various veg magazines, sites etc etc. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=""><br><br><br><br>
That might be way out there lol so sorry if I'm of no help.
