This is a product that I have had my troubles with, but I keep trying to stick with it as I become less and less tolerant (physically and mentally) of dairy. With my bagel this morning, I was wanting to be a little sweeter, so I mixed it with a littlt Agave Nectar prior to putting it on my bagel. Win. It was pretty good and I will do it again.

Prior, I had only had luck with using it in savory dips, etc.

While it isn't an exact swap out for cream cheese, it is close enough for me that I can use it on bagels as I would cream cheese. That's all I use cream cheese for, though. My husband, who is a die hard omni, even likes it.

For my bagel, I sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over the tofutti cream cheese. Or, in addition to the agave nectar, add walnuts and raisins. As good as the kind I used to get in the delis with a cinnamon raisin bagel.

This stuff is awful. I've tried multiple times to give it a chance, but it just doesn't meet my definition for the word "edible".

Ship it north, Fromper, I adore it! and have been know to eat spoonfuls of it right out of the tub.

I didn't care for the better than cream cheese, but I am obsessed with better than sour cream. Maybe you could try that instead.

Yeah me too. I've tried three brands and they are all good.

Both the cream and sour versions are staples in my house.

I used to like it but now I only use it for cooking. I tried a substitute once when I ran out and liked it much better. First I spread earth balance on the toasted bagel and it melts right away. Then I add the tofutti sour cream over that and add black pepper. It is sooo delicious

I definitely like the sour cream better than the cream cheese. The only issue I have with the cream cheese is that the texture is a bit waxy. Probably because I used to love Temptee whipped cream cheese so much. But taste-wise I like it fine and it does the trick for me.
