Has anyone found vegan skincare products that they're happy with? I have a vegan cleanser that I love, but I need to find a basic moisturizer and an eye cream.

I'm 30 years old and I've always had good clear skin naturally as long as I don't abuse it, but overly oily products do tend to make me break out. I just want a basic moisturizer that isn't too oily/greasy, and an eye cream that sinks in well so I can wear it under makeup. No bells and whistles necessary.

Any ideas? TIA

I really love Lush. Everything that I use (Angels on Bare Skin, Imperialis, Breath of Fresh Air) are all Vegan. The only thing that I use that's not vegan is the Enchanted Eye Cream because it has Lavender Honey Water in it. Still worth checking out though, I think!

Awesome. I'll check there first as I adore their body and hair products -- I had just never tried their facial skincare products before. I'll see if I can find a moisturizer there and maybe check somewhere else for the eye cream.

I like "Kiss my face" as well.

And it's not exactly an eye cream, but a concealer that I use under my eyes under makeup "Urban Decay." I use NSA which I think is their darkest shade, but I am pretty light. It seems to blend in perfectly though, and I absolutely love it. Best concealer I have ever used!

Thanks for all the great suggestions! I should look at Kiss My Face as well, I've always liked their products.

I prefer things that I can make myself, that way I know I'm using completely vegan preferably organic ingredients. The only drawback to this is that I like pretty packaging My favourite moisturiser is pure coconut oil. I have very awkward skin that is both dry, oily and sensitive (spot prone) and the healing properties of the coconut oil are lovely. It also absorbs very quickly so you don't go around feeling greasy. I can even use it under my makeup.
For cleansing I am partial to dr Bronners soaps, particularly the baby mild one.

I have heard about using coconut oil as a moisturizer, but I was worried that it would be too greasy. I'm am happy to hear that in your experience, it isn't!

Thanks for all the suggestions guys! I went over to the grocery store today (my grocery store has a lot of natural foods type stuff) and picked up some Alba Botanica moisturizer (Lush facial cream they call it.) It was the only vegan moisturizer they had so I didn't have much of a choice, but when I tried it out today it seemed really nice. Smells nice, nice light texture, absorbs. I'll have to wait a few weeks and see how it does with my skin.

I also ordered some Kiss My Face eye cream.

I love their shave lotion. I've been using it for many years, since even before I was veg*n. It's just a great product.

I was at the Lush Counter today at Macy's today and I was talking to the girl that worked there and she told me that they are discontinuing their old eye cream and replacing it with a couple of different vegan eye creams! So exciting!

I use primarily two, Lilly organics (sensitive skin cleanser and moisurizer) and Dr Alkaitis.

LO is seed to shelf, is the only certified organic farm in the US who also manufacturers her own certified organic skincare products from produce and herbs from her farm.

Dr Alkaits has cold pressed raw products. I have oily skin but I love his nourishing treatment oil at night after my treatments. Because of how it's extracted and raw, it absorbs right in and isn't greasy at all. It's amazing how well it heals the skin and is one of my staples....I never thought I'd EVER put oil on my face. I was always looking for oil free products, but I can atest it's about the type of oil.

For exfoliation, I apply homemade C serum in the morning and rotate between garden of wisdom's resurfacing treatment and mandelic acid at night.

I just got some Faith in Nature cleansing lotion. I know it's not for removing make-up, but I was wondering whether anyone has used it for that purpose anyway? I don't wear much make-up, usually just foundation and mascara, do you reckon it's suitable for removing that? Just thinking cause I'm out of make-up remover atm :p.

Edit: I applied the cleansing lotion for removing my make-up last night and it was great .

I tried it and I love it! My legs are very sensitive and I can't use most shave products, but this is great!

I think Body shop is the best to remove make-up! But if you just need to clean, Nytu is the best I've tried in many years.
It seems it is out of stock in Europe right now, but if you find them and are sure they are the original ones, you shouldn't worry to abuse of them. They are made of natural ingredients and or Erbolario or Societa' del Karite' are behind the production. The australian Ayucare are also pretty good .. still out of ordering in Europe. Well, these Eu-rules make the diffusion of good quality products very difficult .. we may always try to prepare our own products using old recipes -you still need to cook ingredients, so be kind not to correct the use of an international language. Enjoy ..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ML0CsHyCanY
