I am so glad when I find other people who love EKS's work. Now I know two people here who know The Legendary Pink Dots. Now Rigmarole should believe us, since there are two of us praising EKS/LPD in this thread, hehe.<br><br><br><br>

Why Kazaa? Soulseek is much better. If you want to listen to something, get the song Scarlett Cross, or the one I mentioned, There Was A Crooked Man.

And here's even an address, <a href="http://www.brainwashed.com/lpd/download.html" target="_blank">http://www.brainwashed.com/lpd/download.html</a><br><br><br><br>
just download the song Isis Veiled from there.<br><br><br><br>
That's one of the most saddest by EKS/LPD/TG I know of, by the way. Tanith is the most magical, especially the title song.<br><br><br><br>
(But I could go on and on, so I'll try to control myself.)

I just listened to Isis Veiled and Stitching Time. His vocals strongly hint at Robyn Hitchcock. It's not such an exciting song, but I like it alot. I think I'll buy this Tanith and the Lion Tree album.<br><br><br><br>
Thanks for the recommendation. This may be the beginning of another long musical journey for me. I dig it.<br><br><br><br>
Ever hear of Robyn Hitchcock? My favorite album of his is Black Snake Diamond Role. If you want to check out any of his songs from Kazaa or some other p2p site I'd recommend Brenda's Iron Sledge or Acid Bird, but it's mostly all really really good.<br><br><br><br>

I've heard of Robin Hitchcock, but have never really listened.<br><br>
I'll have to check it out.<br><br><br><br>
Thanks!<br><br><br><br>
BTW - Don't forget about Teargarden "Tired Eyes."<br><br>
Wow. It is a collaboration between Ka-Spel and cEvin Key, with Dave Ogilvie.

You should know, though, that especially the EKS solo work tends to be pretty avant-garde sometimes.. If you don't want something that experimental, and if you want a good overview of all the various styles of EKS/LPD, I would recommend (once again - I guess this is the 89th recommendation from LPD/EKS I've presented here) the Legendary Pink Dots album Nemesis Online, which has it all: from trip hop (?) and short soundscapes and haunting ballads and twisted pop songs and waltzes and aggressive guitar things to a timeless Martian lullaby.<br><br><br><br>
(By the way, when one gets hooked on LPD/EKS, there's so much stuff it's suffocating - easily maybe 40 albums).

Well I was only able to find the title track of Tanith and the Lion Tree on kazaa but it was awesome. Very dark and brooding, but only a partial track at that. I hope the album is as good.

Well, the title track from Tanith is very representative of many EKS songs, so if you'll like that you'll like many many more. But like I said, EKS solo albums are somewhat avant-garde, so if you're not used to tracks with weird electronic hiss & bleep, I'd recommend some other album.

Probably will be more popular because it's on the Cowboy Bebop movie soundtrack, but "Knock a Little Harder" by Yoko Kanno and the Seatbelts is a really great song.
