This dressing is soooo good and so easy to make.

Ingredients:

3 tbsp white parched sesame seeds

1 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp oil

1 tbsp soy sauce (I like Kikkoman. Yamasa is good too)

Method:

1) Lightly toast the sesame seeds in a pan. While still hot, grind them up with a mortar and pestle.

2) When the seeds are half paste-like, add the other ingredients. Continue to work the mixture until smooth, yet a little gritty at the same time.

Variation:

Grate a little fresh ginger root into the dressing in step 2.

Good with any salad! It's also good on chrysanthemum leaves if you can find them.
