Salads are certainly good for health. I certainly think a portion of our diets should be dedicated to raw foods. I've learned how to make salad dressings with no oil. All of the oil that people pour on top of salads isn't particularly healthy for their bodies. Oil has no nutrient content, so it doesn't really go hand in hand with the vitamins and antioxidants found in the salad greens and veggies. The rest of a person's diet probably has more than enough fat to process the fat-soluble vitamins.
