I was wondering if any of you kneww of some good videos etc . for beginning yoga, thanks bunches.
your best bet is to begin with a teacher. this is because the postures are quite complex and if you do them wrongly, repeatedly, you can injure yourself.

that being said, i have a video that should be finished end of this week. so, i would recommend that. it's made for beginners. beta testing has gone well. it won't cost too much either.

i made it because i felt like the ones on the market were lacking in several ways. so, i would actually start with a book rather than a video--but that can be difficult too.
Finding a teacher is definately a good route to go, they can ensure that you are doing the poses properly and not hurting yourself.

Barring that, I'd reccomend the book "Moving Toward Balance" by Rodney Yee and Nina Zolotow, I've found it incredibly helpful. It's an 8-week course, at the beginning of each week it goes over the the poses you'll be doing, the different versions of them and how your body should feel in those poses. I love it! (Although I still reccomend going to a teacher at least once to get the basics down!)
