This is an odd post and probably tmi for some people but on an average day how many times to do you pee or poop?

I've been peeing a lot more since I turned veggie and my bowel movements have improved a bit as well.

Well, I urinate about 6-10 times a day on average... I've been wondering about over active bladder, but I dunno...

As far as bowels...basically once a day, like clockwork... after I wake up, sometimes just every other day though.

I didn't notice any difference really since I became vegetarian or vegan. I piss a lot more when I drink alcohol though. Other than that, I think I'm pretty normal.

Pee: A lot, probably around 10 times a day, I'm addicted to liquids and always have been.

Poop: 1-3 times a day, usually closer to 1. I almost always go right after I eat.

I've always had a very active bladder due to a single kidney and other such issues, so I go anywhere from 10-20 times a day depending on how much liquid I drink. As for. . .erm, bowel movement usually once a day, always in the morning after breakfast.

I go whenever I need to. I don't track it, or count. My body lets me know when it needs me to take it to the proper location.

Fiber, fiber, fiber. If you're eating a lot of dairy, eggs, and white bread, you could easily be short on fiber. I suggest tracking your fiber intake for a few days and make sure you're getting enough. I had a friend (not a vegetarian) who spent years averaging one BM a week due to endometriosis, and when she started eating a lot less meat and a lot more vegetables (not quite a vegetarian, though), it got her up to a cool 1 poo a day. Yay vegetables!

I try to get enough fiber! I have oatmeal in the morning with a heaping tablespoon of ground flaxseed. I only eat wheat bread. I had zero dairy or meat products all last week. I don't understand

Do you know how many grams you're getting a day? I think the recommended minimum is 25 g for women under 50 and 38 g for men under 50. If you eat lots of whole grains, fruit, vegetables, and legumes and you meet or exceed those numbers, I would guess fiber is not the problem.

I wouldn't answer this if I were you, guys. This is the first and only post by this "new member" and more than likely I imagine its someone with a weird bathroom fetish. We get the occasional post like this (often in the teen forums.... ewwww....) but they get deleted quickly.

You know my little girl had/has this same problem all the fiber in the world was not helping her.

If your stools are hard or large you may want to go visit a GI doc, I was shocked when he put my little girl on a low fiber diet for a few days his wording was fiber will only make it worse if you do not get it cleaned out in the first place, after your cleaned out then go for the fiber.

This is all of course assumeing you are getting lots of fiber in your diet already.

Anyway if your gummed up and you eat healthy with pleanty of fiber and your still haveing problems go see a GI doc.

Don't forget that if you eat a high fiber diet you need EXTRA water otherwise the fiber will only contribute to your 'not going' problems.

3-5..I can hold it in as long as I need to do. On days when we travel I only go about two times, dont like public toilets a lot. I control it myself but I usually go about 3-4 times. One big one and the rest small hahaha.
