Hi guys!

I was around a while back not super active but around, I ended up adding some meat back into my diet I just went vegetarian too quickly, I didn't build enough knowledge and recipes first. Now I'm on my way back, I'm building and eating almost no meat. I'll be meatless by next week and I feel much better this time. I really think I needed to take the step back and treat this as a lifestyle change, that's something I didn't do the first time. I noticed quickly after adding small amounts of meat back to my diet though how much better I felt as a vegetarian, so I'm happy to have that back.

I'll probably garner more infractions for this, but PLEASE stop consuming meat as soon as possible

Don't feel alone. It took me 5-years to phase out meat. Welcome!

Thanks for the warm welcome, I was really hoping this would be a place of support and information. I'm doing lots of reading around. Sites like this are nicer then books in a lot of ways because it's personal experiences.

I was wondering, and please tell me if I should post this someplace else, what are everyone's feelings on fake meats. I really didn't care for them previously. I just prefered veggies and tofu to the packaged fake meats. I'm sure it's just a personal preference but I'm curious.

It really is, I feel so much better already! In a way the lapse was good because it make me realize how good for me the change was
