Okay, so we thought we'd follow in the footsteps of our American cousins... calling all Aussies, we need you to vote on which city you'd prefer to have the Aussie VB gathering in. If picking other please specify.

I picked Brissie coz I'm being lazy

But Byron Bay would be OK... I've only ever been there once and that was when I was like 10.

I'm planning on going to Sydney sometime soon anyway, so that would be OK.

I went to Bryon Bay in jan and to tell you the truth i was quite dissapointed. Not only is quite comercialised and touristy but there arn't that many vegi options. At kebab places there are tofu kebabs which are great but there is only vegi restaurant and there is just one or two vegan options.

I am from U.S., but can't go to our gathering. If you organize one in B.C., then I would come. I'm from Washington which is right on the border. I go there all the time.

I've never been on a plane but think I'd probably freak out (although I'm not sure it could be worse than 10 hours on the XPT).

I've been to a few, and they're not bad. There are some ones I haven't been to that I hear good things about.

I voted for Brisbane as I have friends & family there so could make a bit of a holiday out of it! Flying is getting cheaper & cheaper these days....2 years ago I booked a bus trip from Brissy to Darwin & then when I got home found out I could have flown for less than the (long tedious) bus trip cost me.

I'd love to meet up with you guys for a felafel or 2 even though I'm only new here. If it was somewhere else besides Brissy I'd def consider it.
