Animal rights hero, Virgil Butler, passed away on Friday. The viewing is Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. in Mena, Ark., and the funeral is Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Cove, Ark. His wife, Laura Alexander, has very little support for her and Virgils animal activism, and it would be wonderful if animal activists would attend the funeral and support her, tell her what a hero Virgil was to all of us.

If you possibly can make the trip to the Middlewest portion of Arkansas (3 hours from Tulsa, 4 hours from Dallas), please do. If you know anyone in that area who might be up for the trip, please forward this email. If you are on any Texas, Arkansas, or Oklahoma animal lists, please forward this to them.
