I am..highly confused.

I have'nt lost any weight recently *sobs*

but... I've gone down a size in clothes.

I do NOT understand.

I wondered if the clothes I were buying were lying on their size tags, but it doesn't matter where I try things on, I need a size smaller. My old clothes are looser too..

I'm so confused...

Has anyone else experienced this?

It could mean that you've lost fat but gained muscle -- muscle weighs more then fat, so the scale wouldn't show it necessarily, but your clothes would definitely fit better! Have you been working out a lot?

Schoska,

What spa_girl said. I've been doing weights regularly for a while & have gained several pounds, but my clothes still fit perfectly.
I was pretty thin to begin with, so I don't think I can really get much smaller & be healthy. Personally, I hate scales. I only occasionally use one if, say, I'm at a friend's house that has one in the bathroom. And before dance shows. I (for no good reason) get obsessive over my weight before dance shows -- but I only do them once a year, so there's really no harm.

Well I've not been running any marathons but I've been doing much more toning stuff recently. Maybe that is it.

I thought I was suffering from dellusions!
