Wow seems comic films are just gonna keep on coming. There is supposedly going to be an adaptation of Garfield too <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=""><br><br><br><br>
We did this with Willy Wonka and it was kinda fun so who the hell is gonna be Hagar? I know a lot of people hate/d this comic but I used love reading it.<br><br><br><br>
If you don't know it Hagar was a fat, drunken Viking.<br><br><br><br>
Its got to be - John Goodman OR Jack Black would make a good Viking I think <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/grin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":D"><br><br><br><br>
And to go off topic for a sec - is it just me or does M. Night Shyamalan look like Mr Bean?<br><br><br><br><a href="http://www.empireonline.co.uk/news/futurefilms/future_film.asp?id=10036" target="_blank">http://www.empireonline.co.uk/news/f...m.asp?id=10036</a>

the concept of a movie version of Hagar the Horrible is appalling!!!! what a stupid, inane, idiotic, vapid, inconsequential comic strip? it's rarely funny, and when it is, its done with obvious, ridiculous, unintelligent humor....<br><br><br><br>
no wonder hollywood wants to do it.... <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="">

I like Hagar. He loots, pillages, tries to avoid taxes, drinks beer with the boyz, and avoids his angry wife whenever possible. Not that I identify with him at all.... <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/pimp.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":tame:">

I think the greatest comic strip of all time is Calvin & Hobbes... I can only hope Hollywood never gets their hands on it.

I love Calvin and Hobbes too. Do people actually read Hagar the Horrible (aside from Tame<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/shocked.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=""> )?
